Atelier Solene — Interior Design Branding Case Study
Atelier Solene was designed as a study in restraint — an interior design studio rooted in craftsmanship, longevity, and quiet sophistication. This branding project explores how subtlety, materiality, and editorial pacing can work together to create a brand that feels established, considered, and timeless.
The goal was not to chase trends, but to create an identity that feels lived-in, enduring, and deeply intentional.
The Vision
Atelier Solene was imagined as a boutique interior design studio operating at the intersection of European influence and modern restraint. Inspired by classic Parisian apartments, natural materials, and thoughtfully composed spaces, the brand needed to feel calm yet confident — refined without being precious.
This project focused on creating a visual identity that reflects how the studio works: quietly, carefully, and with lasting impact.
Brand Direction
The identity centers around softness, balance, and structure. Every element was designed to support the idea of interiors that are meant to be lived in — not just photographed.
Key principles behind the brand direction:
Timeless typography with editorial elegance
A neutral, warm palette inspired by stone, linen, oak, and ceramic
Minimal marks and generous spacing to allow the work to breathe
A visual language rooted in texture rather than trend
The monogram was designed to feel subtle and architectural — something that belongs quietly within the space, not on top of it.
Visual Language & Assets
Imagery plays a central role in the Atelier Solene brand. Rather than relying on loud visuals or heavy overlays, the system favors soft light, natural materials, and moments of stillness.
Brand assets include:
Editorial-style imagery inspired by interiors, materials, and form
Stationery and printed touchpoints that feel tactile and intentional
Product-style layouts used to highlight craftsmanship and detail
A calm, consistent visual rhythm across digital and print applications
Each piece was designed to feel cohesive yet understated — reinforcing trust through consistency and restraint.
Application & Experience
The branding was applied across mock stationery, digital layouts, and visual storytelling pieces to show how the identity would live in the real world. The focus was on creating a believable, cohesive brand experience — one that could naturally extend into a website, client communications, and editorial features.
The result is a brand that feels grounded, elevated, and quietly confident.
Why This Project Matters
This project reflects my approach to branding: thoughtful, strategic, and deeply visual. It demonstrates how strong identity work doesn’t need to be loud to be memorable — it simply needs to be clear, cohesive, and intentional.
Atelier Solene is a reminder that refinement lives in the details — and that the most enduring brands are often the most restrained.
