ShopRepurpose — Where Fashion Meets Purpose

My time with FreschStyle naturally transitioned into a new opportunity when Jessie invited me to support her next venture: ShopRepurpose, a nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of designer resale to support programs dedicated to empowering women, promoting sustainability, and funding community wellness initiatives.

As someone passionate about conscious consumerism and female entrepreneurship, I was honored to help build this brand from the ground up. At ShopRepurpose, I led the charge on all things content and branding. I created the social media presence from scratch—developing tone, visuals, and strategy that aligned with their philanthropic mission and luxury aesthetic.

My work at ShopRepurpose included:

  • Developing content pillars and a brand-aligned posting strategy

  • Assisting on and planning photoshoots for product and lifestyle content

  • Designing graphics for events, fundraisers, and daily posts

  • Managing social platforms with an intentional voice and consistent brand identity

  • Covering live events through real-time social content and photography

Running socials for both FreschStyle and ShopRepurpose taught me how to balance aesthetics with impact, and visuals with value. I learned to craft content that didn't just look beautiful but told a deeper story—one about women helping women, sustainability, and intentional living.

These experiences continue to shape how I serve clients today through Brandy Durst Creative—bringing strategy, intuition, and purpose to every piece of visual content. I’ll always look back on those New York City days with gratitude. They were fast-paced, bold, and foundational to the creative entrepreneur I’ve become.
